The world of UK property is a weird and wonderful place.

Just recently, we’ve seen a three-bed house for sale for £10,000 and a unique bungalow shaped like a horseshoe for £975,000.

But now a new listing has caught our attention.

A run-down detached garage in Bewdley, Worcestershire, is on the market for an eye-watering £20,000.

It’s essentially a glorified shed and it’s being sold via auction next month.

However, experts think this unusual property listing could be a lucrative business opportunity.

Anyone willing to look past its shabby nature may see that the garage holds great potential, due to its incredibly desirable location – being a five-minute drive from the town centre of Bewdley.

As a result, a buyer could completely knock it down and start from scratch, creating whatever building of their choosing.

While this would cost extra money, it could pay off in the long-run.

Alternatively, they could work with what’s already there and spruce up the timber building.

An advert for the garage reads: ‘Lot two is located on the opposite side of the road to Wyre Cottage and provides a single detached garage and parking space for the dwelling, or alternatively a stand-alone parking facility.’

Anyone interested in the run-down property should know the auction, hosted by Nock Deighton Agricultural, is taking place on April 4 at 5pm.

Elsewhere in the world of unusual property, a unique flat covered in murals and pictures of Princess Diana is up for sale at £72,000.

Likewise, a dreamy eco shack in Hawaii is on the market for £120,000.
