FORMER First Lady Hillary Clinton and White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki both revealed on Tuesday that they tested positive for Covid-19.
The separate announcements came from the pair’s respective Twitter accounts and it does not seem that the cases are related.

“Well, I’ve tested positive for COVID. I’ve got some mild cold symptoms but am feeling fine,” Clinton wrote.
Clinton, 74, also made a point to urge people to get vaccinated.
“I’m more grateful than ever for the protection vaccines can provide against serious illness. Please get vaccinated and boosted if you haven’t already!”
In a separate tweet, Clinton told her followers that husband and former President Bill Clinton tested negative for the virus and “is feeling fine.”
“He’s quarantining until our household is fully in the clear. Movie recommendations appreciated!”
“Today, in preparation for travel to Europe, I took a PCR test this morning. That test came back positive, which means I will be adhering to CDC guidance and no longer be traveling on the President’s trip to Europe.”
Psaki added that she had two “socially-distanced meetings” with President Joe Biden yesterday and he wasn’t considered a close contact as defined by the CDC.
“I am sharing the news of my positive test today out of an abundance of transparency. The President tested negative today via PCR test.”
Like Clinton, Psaki also praised the vaccine, adding that she has only experienced mild symptoms. To keep with White House Covid-19 protocols, Psaki said she will be working from home and will return in person after a five-day isolation period and a negative test.
This is the second time that Psaki has tested positive for Covid-19. Back in October 2021, she announced that she came down with the virus.
Just last week, former President Barack Obama announced that he also tested positive for the virus.
“I’ve had a scratchy throat for a couple days, but I am feeling fine otherwise,” he wrote on Twitter.
His wife, former First Lady Michelle Obama, tested negative.
“Michelle and I are grateful to be vaccinated and boosted,” the former president said.
