She and dad Michael have the sweetest bond, with the footballer, 42, supporting his daughter at every opportunity.
Gemma is the eldest of Michael’s children. He and his wife Louise, who got married in 2005, also share their daughters Emily and Jessica and their son James.

Just a few weeks before she was announced for the villa, Michael shared an adorable snap with Gemma to celebrate her 19th birthday.
’19 years of joy since you entered our lives! Happy Birthday @gem0wen,’ he wrote.
Earlier this year, Michael also shared a promo shot from Gemma’s new swimwear brand, describing himself as ‘pretty damn proud’ and urging people to ‘give her a follow’.
Elsewhere, of course, Michael has supported his daughters’ incredible sporting careers.
Sharing a string of photos of Gemma as part of Team GB, he wrote: ‘I’m proud beyond belief of my eldest daughter @gem0wen representing Great Britain at The European Championships out in Spain. It’s been her dream and she has worked so hard to achieve it🇬🇧.’
Family days out

Michael and Gemma have often been seen hanging out, with there being plenty of snaps of the 19-year-old supporting her dad at games when she was younger.
In one sweet snap, when Michael played for Newcastle, he can be seen holding a young Gemma in one arm and waving to fans with the other.
The pair have shared snaps of family Christmases over the years, and the footballer is clearly as proud as punch of his brood of kids.

Meanwhile, earlier this year, the dad and daughter even appeared to coordinate outfits for a day out at the races.
The footballer was joined by his wife Louise and and Gemma for the Boodles May Festival Ladies Day, and the star was more than happy to greet fans with a smile and wave.
However, all eyes were on Gemma as she looked stunning in a navy blue bodycon dress.

While Michael’s been incredibly supportive of Gemma’s career, the teen previously suggested her dad wouldn’t be too impressed if she told him she was going to appear on Love Island – however, she might have just been throwing us off the scent.
Speaking to MailOnline in March, she said: ‘My dad has pushed more with sport but my mum on the other side has always drilled it into me and my sisters how important it is to have something of your own and stand on your own two feet financially.
‘They are both unbelievably supportive but I would say my mum has encouraged more of the business side.’
She also joked about her dad’s potential reaction if she ever went on Love Island, saying she wouldn’t apply as she isn’t ‘looking for love right now,’ but is a fan of the ITV dating series.
‘Some of the challenges on Love Island, they’re quite out there. I’m not sure I would be able to kiss 10 boys in a row but I do think it’s a great show,’ she said.
‘But boys aren’t on the cards right now and my dad wouldn’t be very happy at all if I came back and said ‘I’m going on Love Island.’
Over to you, Michael…
Love Island starts Monday June 6 at 9pm on ITV2.
